For the final Lit Circle my group and I agreed to read the final chapters of Holler If You Hear Me. Much of the final chapters focused on Mr. Michie trying to bring the best out of his students who felt they needed different ways to learn that would keep them interested. Two parts that I thought were significant are when Reggie was racially harassed the police officer because I thought it was very interesting that the passage related to a lot of what is seen in the news today. Another part was during the graduation where parents were saying this was probably the only graduation they would see because it shows that although they reach one milestone students get snatched up by their environment before they can reach another.
